I'm getting up at 3am to drive up to the top of a dormant volcano (10000 feet up) and watch the sunrise. Not sure what's happening after that. The local news says there's going to be a big worker strike at a bunch of hotels here starting at midnight. Glad I'm in a condo. They're also having protests this week in Honolulu over some Asian development conference, like the ones in Seattle and Quebec. Glad I'm on Maui.
