All World accounts can send and receive E-mail. The World has provided the first public access Internet E-mail since 1989. Some of our customers have kept the same E-mail addresses for fifteen years -- no other Internet provider can say that!

Send & Receive E-mail With Your Favorite Program

You can send and receive E-mail via The World. Use any E-mail software such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla, Apple Mail, or Eudora. The World works with Windows, MacOS and Linux.

Check Your E-mail From Anywhere via our WebMail

You can use our WebMail from any Web browser to check your E-mail from our dialups, or through your home's cable or DSL broadband, or at your office, in the library, or even from an Internet cafe.

We Give You Control Over Your E-mail

You control our advanced spam-blocking features. You can use high-end filtering software (such as Spamassassin and procmail) to block spam before it is received. You can also use the spam-blocking features in your favorite E-mail program.

After filtering your mail, you can even forward it to your PDA or a mailing list.

Manage Mailing Lists

Create mailing lists which can be private or public, moderated or unmoderated, via the standard Majordomo server.

We Won't Bug You

We will not insert ads in your E-mail. We will not insert taglines in your E-mail. We mind our own business and provide you with your E-mail -- no extra ads.

Supersize Mailboxes

The World's mailboxes have a 50-megabyte capacity for temporary or permanent storage (enough room for thousands of messages.) There is no limit on the size of attachments.

We Support The Standards

The technical details: The World works with any of the standard Internet E-mail protocols including POP, IMAP and SMTP. We also offer shell connections to our UNIX command-line interface.
