wwwacct Beginner Help

Wwwacct prints out WWW log records for your account in the standard
format used by the NCSA HTTPD server, version 1.3. The records are
rather verbose. The fields printed are, left to right: remote host,
remote user (always "-"), the local user (always "-"), date, time,
timezone all in [brackets], the request type (GET, PUT, etc.), the
file requested, the server protocol, a status code (see below), and
the number of bytes transferred (or - if not applicable.)

The -d flag can be used to request data for a different month or year,
the format is mm/dd/yy as in 3/8/95 for March 8, 1995. If the year is
omitted it defaults to the current year.

NOTE: Because the file is closed at just midnight the -d flag shows
records for the previous day, so to be precise to see the records for
3/8/95 you would type -d 3/9 or if necessary -d 3/9/95 (it always
assumes the current year if omitted.)

If at any time you would like to get an up-to-date report of your HPA
usage statistic totals, simply type:

        world% wwwacct -t

To obtain more detailed (and verbose) information about your HPA usage
statistics, specifically a log of your usage but without totals, type:

        world% wwwacct

And to get a combination of the information provided by the above two
commands, type:

        world% wwwacct -s
