If you login to your World account regularly, you may be interested in the calendar program. The calendar program is a useful tool to rely on for reminders of important events or other scheduling issues. You simply create a file called calendar in your home directory and enter a date that you want a reminder sent to you, and the message reminder in a few words on the same line. Most reasonable month-day dates such as Aug. 24, august 24, 8/24, and so on, are recognized, but not 24 August or 24/8. The calendar program reads your calendar file nightly, and issues email message to you the day prior to and the day of a particular date listed in this file. The content of the email message sent to you will consist of the text you created on the same line that the date was listed on.
