| Some Rules on Password Selection: Passwords must be six to eight characters long, not be all alphabetics or all digits or all the same character (------), be a common word or an obvious variation on your login. Why? |
| A pretty good formula is to pick two 3 or 4 character words and separate them by a punctuation such as dog+toss or boy, ship and even better if you can vary upper/lower case like dOG+Toss or BOY,sHiP if you don't find that too hard to remember. Adding a digit makes the password even stronger, doG%boY9 . |
