Miscellaneous Information
- It would be very helpful if you would LABEL all of your child's articles of clothing including
sweaters, coats, hats, etc. It would also be most helpful to label the outside of your child's lunch
box for easy accessibility!
- Children are dismissed from school by class. Your child's teacher will allow your child outside
the school ONLY when she makes eye contact with you or whoever is scheduled to pick up your
child. If no one is there to pick up your child, they will remain inside the school with their teacher
until you arrive.
- The school will never allow anyone other than the parents or the persons listed on the
EMERGENCY RELEASE form to pick up a child, unless the parents notify the school in advance
that someone different will be picking up their child on that particular day.
- Please be timely in picking up your child from school. Although the school prefers to not charge
additional fees for late pick-ups, a parent may be assessed late fees in the amount of $5.00 for each
15 minutes of extra time spent at school if late pick-ups become a constant habit with a particular
family. Constant late pick-ups cause quite a burden on teacher schedules. We thank you for your
cooperation in this matter!
- There is NO PARKING on the school side of Clifton Street, as the street is an emergency access
route for ambulances and fire trucks. It is an MBTA bus route as well. PLEASE DO NOT PARK
ON OUR SIDE OF THE STREET. Your cooperation in this matter is again very much
appreciated! Also, please be careful to not block any of our neighbors driveways when dropping
off or picking up children! It is most inconvenient for someone to have their driveway blocked for
up to six times a day every day of the week, and we can certainly sympathize with their being quite
irritated at this.
- Please do not hesitate to call the school at anytime at 781-321-3339 should you need additional
information not covered in the parent handbook, or if you would like to speak with your child's
teacher on any matter, or with the director for any reason whatsoever. A copy of the
Massachusetts Standards for the Licensure of Group Day Care Programs, CMR 102 7.00, is
located in our kitchen/office for your use or perusal.
