some recent events I managed:

"Isochronous 1394-over-coax HD Multimedia Network, a UWB demo", CableLabs Summer Conference 6-8Aug06.  This demo was the hit of the conference!  We demoed 3 streams of HD isochronous video and audio as well as asynchronous 1394 command and control. Up to 27Mbps per stream or 81 Mbps!  However, having Terminator, Entrapment, and the 2Fast2Furious HD movies playing on 3 42" Plasma screens helped a little too!

"An overview of the IEEE 802.15.3a Call For Proposals", IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC’2003), Technology Panel: Ultra-wideband (UWB), 19Mar03.  I learned of this panel on Monday March 3, 2003, apparently the prior moderator had trouble organizing and I said I could help - in two (2) weeks I was able to assemble a world class (see below) group of panelists!  However, more importantly Dr. Alex Gelman Chief Scientist, Panasonic Princeton Research Laboratory and the conference organizer, was was very pleased to have the panel and with such distinguished credentials!
